Plexiglas Dry Point Print Workshop
Saturday May 10th
1pm - 5pm
tuition: $80 (students are responsible for bringing their own materials)
Join artist and educator Phillip Robertson for an afternoon of learning the dry point engraving process on the Whalen Pro printmaking press. Students will be introduced to the dry point process and how to use the press. Each student will produce a small edition of proof prints over the course of the class. All experience levels welcome.
Materials Needed: Plexiglas plates, ink, heavyweight printmaking paper (Stonehenge or
equivalent), etching scribes. Instructor will supply additional scribes as needed.
Instructor:
Phillip Robertson is an interdisciplinary artist and educator living in Vermont since 1994. Robertson teaches art history, drawing, painting, and printmaking at the Community College of Vermont and Vermont State University-Johnson Campus.
