Description

Art Sessions for Middle Schoolers (Grades 5-8)

TW Wood’s Youth Programs are excited to introduce a new format for aspiring artists. These Art Sessions will be held Wednesday afternoons in our Adult Education art room and separate from our daily After School Arts program. Art Sessions will focus on the interests of middle school aged artists to help them develop their skills and build self confidence in their artwork.
 

Session 1 - Nature (5 weeks)
Wednesdays from 3:30 - 5:30

Enjoy the beauty of Fall! Explore texture, color, and form through natural elements like leaves, tree bark, rocks, and branches. We will show our creative expression and love of nature by making sculptures and mandalas, rubbings and weavings, and nature-inspired drawings and paintings. There will also be time to spend on your own independent ideas.

Restrictions

Participants must be entering grades 5 to 8.
